This whole "tropical" genre spin-off is kind of cool. It really hits best when the synths are laid-back pimp style and the drums are just stuttery enough to almost-but-not-quite sound like reggaeton. I never really got into garage (did any children of the 80s from the U.S. ever get into garage?), so maybe my take on all this post-garage stuff is out of context, but i can't get a C+C Music Factory vibe out of my head...maybe it's the vocals? Anyway, this shit is PHAT, and this is a perfect example:

Thanks for the post! As an American bred child of the 80s I can say that I did definitely get into garage (but only just a few years ago). Nice tags btw especially liking the third one ;D
