The Shortstuff / Brackles / Martin Kemp trifecta that's recently cropped up as sort of the leading edge of (anti) dubstep / wonky / whatever-you-want-to-call it has got my full attention now. It's not all that refined (these guys are pretty young), but it's bursting with originality, which seems increasingly hard to sift out of the samey culture of the UK breakbeat continuum.
