The owner of Anthem Records here in Portland (Jon) is always playing tight shit when I go in to pick up the records I compulsively buy every week. On Friday I walked in and heard him listening to some mind-blowing skwee. Daniel Savio, which I found out later is the guy who invented the name of the genre, creates a perfect blend between gangsta rap beats, horror movie soundtrack synth lines, and kooky Swedish electro-funk. This stuff is fucking TRANSCENDENT.

I've had this on vinyl for a few months now, junk is hot! you should also peep the Randy Barracuda and Rigas Den Andre full-lengths on the same label.
